Comics legend Warren Ellis wrote a GI JOE hour-long animated movie called GI JOE:RESOLUTE that's supposed to be out in 2009. Here's Warren himself talking about the project on his web site.
This is probably going to be amazing. I'm also way too excited about the live-action GI JOE movie coming out, but I can't wait to see Grunt on the big screen!
What do you mean he's not in the movie? What about Cover Girl? Snow Job? Really? At least tell me The Fridge and Sgt. Slaughter are on board. What? Noooooo!
I'll be over here watching GI JOE: ARISE, SERPENTOR, ARISE! and weeping if anyone needs me.
