The Thing From Another World (out of costume)

Jim Wynorski (movie director extraordinaire) posted these photo of James Arness on the set of "The Thing From Another World" over at Retromedia Forum, which is run by Fred Olen Ray (also a movie director extraordinaire).

I love seeing these old school Hollywood pics of sci-fi films. It looks like all the guys in the background just stepped out of a mill somewhere and they have no idea what the hell's going on.

FYI James Arness and Peter Graves are brothers. Mind blowing!

They stopped showing videos, but at least they have this.

MTV's Splash Page is a surprisingly good site with a lot of up-to-date info about comics-related movies.

I only say surprisingly becaues MTV really does suck for the most part. Really.

Watchmen costumes. Mmm, okay.

I'm looking forward to the Watchmen movie. As far as the Halloween costumes go? In the words of Rorschach, "Hurm."
